Studio ARTES in Sydney has been supporting adults with a disability through programs in creative arts and life skills since 2000. It currently provides services to over 250 people with a disability all over New South Wales. The organisation’s main requirements for its new website were a compelling pre-structured yet custom website in WordPress, one that reflects and promotes its programs, events, artists and their work in an easy to navigate way. It needed to meet AA accessibility standards, and integrate e-commerce, social feeds, a blog, events listing and media gallery. In response, we designed a quirky, cheerful, joyful, and community-focused but still professional website that does all of these things, and reflects Studio ARTES brand values of inclusion, equity and respect.
